Sculpture Assignment #1 25 digital sculpture pieces

Flora Hitzing, Nachtstück

I enjoy how it can relate to different things, from a dinosaur skull to a rock from space. I don't really like how they used a computer to make it and not their hands.

I Love the overall piece, especially the lighting.  I feel that there should have been more eyes behind the other ones like a mass of eyes gushing out.

 Oliver Herring, Cheryl
It is a extremely fun piece of art with the colors,  reminds me of peter max. The woman's  attitude seems to be unwelcoming, which does not please me.

PERIOD:  21st century

It seems to be fun and crazy shaped especially with the colors. I feel that the shape could have been more complex.

TITLE:  Piranha Plant and Vincent -- Jaime Margary, also known as Kalapusa

PERIOD:  21st century

I really like the Idea and the finished piece, especially the mouth. I don't really care for the scraped texture.

TITLE: Animation Mother (Black & White Version) -- Meats Meier

PERIOD: 2008

The complexity of the piece is amazing, i love the detail. I just wish it could come out looking like that, it seems to only be digital which i don't like.

TITLE: Dragon Throne 3D Digital Sculpture -- Marco Valenzuela

My favorite is how it shows the process to get the Dragon. I didn't like that it was playing so fast

TITLE:?

This piece is awesome I love the proportion and anatomy of the figure. I do wish it would show the penis, why make it and blur it out? Its so cool, he is just like " WhAt, you don't know about me"

TITLE: Death of the Centaur -- Scott Eaton
I like how he showed through the centaur's skin to its mussels, but i feel it could be more detailed. I also liked the different stages it goes through how it looks like a illustration, to a #d digital piece to the actual sculpture.

TITLE: Ecorche study -- Scott Eaton
I think that this is a cool piece, it is wild what he does with the figure, it as if the model was skinless. I wish he would add a little something extra.

TITLE: Ballerina figure sculpture -- Scott Eatson
This is a funny piece, and it has a matching yet ironic title

The glass table with the water drop was amazing, i really hope this will soon be an option to buy for the everyday home. It would be cooler if it continued to drop.

I love the little guy, he so crazy looking. I feel it would be funnier if it was a girl and put it in high heals.

TITLE: Hephaestus -- Scott Eaton
The piece has a sum what old look to it, as if it was from hundreds of years ago. i feel like he could have done something with the eyes though. I really enjoy the hair!

TITLE: Winged Dragon -- Scott Eaton
I feel that this is one of his best pieces, I feel everything about it is awesome, especially the dragon above, it's very mystical. the only thing is i wish the wings were not so angel like.

 TITLE: Ibod -- Scott Eaton
He is great at getting the figure right, but i believe the best part of the whole thing is the title ibod. The sculpture is good i just don't get the pose with the title.

TITLE: Millon De Crotone - after Edme Dumont -- Scott eaton
His work really show that he knows the body. Its funny the sculptures position is if he was splitting the wood with his bare arms. I don't get the concept of the the piece but I find it interesting.

TITLE: Moebius-Helix -- Tom Longtin
I love the colors used in the model, it has a great flow and design. I think it would be better as a hanging piece (or even a light) as a real sculpture. I feel that the material used would make or break the piece

TITLE: Beginning -- Lee, Aries 李福華
I would not look at this sculpture and think that it started out digital, which I like. I don't really get how the piece got its title. It's not a design that i would look at in amazement, but i think the size is what make the piece.
